“The lot King” I started my Owasco journey almost 6 years ago now where I started as a general labourer organizing the lot, cleaning cars, putting window stickers in cars, just picking up loose ends around the dealership in efforts to create the ultimate customer experience at Owasco. As I changed roles in the dealership while attending York University I began selling cars by appointment while also working on the lot. I moved my way through the dealership to inventory manager to assistant sales manager and now I am in my current role as a Sales Manager where I have been in this role for about a year and a half.
Working for a family owned company rather than a “dealer group” the following of not only VW enthusiasts but Owasco enthusiasts is what I value most about working here. Owasco is the type of place where hard work does not go unnoticed. Acting in a customer experience based atmosphere is what I feel separates us from the rest.
In a changing sales landscape where access to hundreds of dealerships is only a click away really all you can do to set yourself apart from the rest is to sell your service and the dealership. This is why in a management role I believe in leading by example and trying to be the hardest working guy on the sales team. At the end of the day without our customers we are just a big parking lot.
As a member of the Owasco hockey team in my time away from work I enjoy playing hockey, baseball, golf. I’m also a huge NFL fan. If I’m not at the golf course you can find me spending time with my friends or family.
